Dean's Book Club

The Dean's Book Club is an opportunity for a group of readers to join in conversation about once a month with the Dean and the Writers-in-Residence around a book they have all read. The Writers-in-Residence or the dean offer an author's perspective on why a particular book speaks to them and lead the group discussion.  It is a great opportunity to meet other readers (and writers!) who share your interests.

Students who are seeking a solution to the "I never get to read for fun these days!" problem will enjoy writers and books that are not found on most course syllabi.

The first 15 first-year students who commit to reading the selected book AND to attending and participating in the discussion will receive a copy of the book, compliments of The Ingram Commons.  All you need to do is come by the Office of the Dean of The Ingram Commons to claim your copy. You are encouraged to read the book early and lend it to a friend, so that they can come, too.
