About the Commons Center

The Commons Center is the new dining facility and community square of The Commons. Located on the Peabody campus, The Commons Center will be the epicenter of the "College Halls" program in 2008; however, it is open a year early for all students.

The Center's main hall, The Eatery, is a place to dine with friends, study with classmates, find a new friend, or get to know a professor. The state-of-the-art dining facility includes salad bars with sizzle stations, Euro-food, specialty pizza ovens, and vegan/vegetarian food.

The Commons Center will also be home to The Commons Cafe, featuring performances by Vanderbilt and Nashville musicians; a fitness facility; resources for academic assistance; and administrative offices for staff of The Commons.
